Wonderful Events Occured In My Life Post Mahaparayan

Shirdi Sai devotee Devika Nair from India says: My name is Devika. I was wondering if I should pen down my recent experiences in Shirdi, post my joining the Mahaparayan group. Baba gave me too many reminders to ignore, so I decided to share it with others.

I had organised a Shirdi visit for the 16th of November this year along with my husband, little son, parents and in-laws. The journey was extremely stressful for me for many different reasons starting with my little one falling sick. Somehow the excitement of going to see my Baba had died down. I was pretty upset and kept asking Baba if He loved me.

Once we reached the sanctum, I took out the Satcharitra and read my part of the Mahaparayan in the temple. I prayed for a good darshan. I had booked for Dhoop Aarti and Shej Aarti. But sadly, both times I couldn’t devote my attention to Baba the way I wanted to.There was too much of a crowd and my son had decided to be at his active best. Teary eyed and filled with dejection, I came out of the temple. I kept asking Baba, what I had done that He was distancing Himself from me. “Baba please love me”, I kept begging Him like an insecure child.

The next day, my father booked for Madhyan Aarti through a friend. Before separating into the ladies’ queue, I wanted to hand over our son to my husband so that my father would be able to request the priest to place him at Baba’s feet.(This was something I had wished for even before my son was born). But that didn’t happen.

I was called by a security lady to come out of the line and move into a nearby room. My heart sank. But somehow I told myself this was Baba’s decision, just follow. As I entered the room, I realised that it was a long chamber. Just when I was thinking to myself whether I would be able to see Baba, the security lady suddenly turned back, looked me in the eye and said, “You will get to see Baba very clearly”. I had goosebumps. I was made to sit just 10 feet away from Baba!! (by the side of Baba). None came between us! My happiness knew no bounds. But the greedy me still wished for more. ‘Baba, show me You love me’, I thought and an image of a red rose flashed across my mind. And lo and behold a red rose fell from somewhere above onto Baba’s left side and rested below His chest! Baba and His ways!! Soon after, the Aarti began. Despite the loud sounds, my son was fast asleep on my lap because of which, I was able to give my 100 percent to the one I love the most. After the Aarti, I was ushered out to take Baba’s blessings along with a few others. My son woke up just in time and the pujari took him from my arms and placed him on Baba’s tomb. Added to that, the side glass barriers were removed, so I managed to touch Baba’s tomb and hence my biggest dream came true. This way, Baba assured me that He loves me.

The reason why I mentioned this incident under the Mahaparayan experience is that many good things have happened post my reading, starting with my son’s first star birthday falling on the 1st Mahaparayan reading day. This incident happened to be the cherry on the cake for me.

Our Merciful Deva Can Never Let Us Down And Feel Dejected, His love For His Devotees is like a Mothers Love Her Child, Jai Sai Maa.
