My Devotion To Dear Sai

Shirdi Sai Baba devotee Indrakshi from India says: I am Indrakshi from Chennai, who always used to chant Sainatha irrespective of any temple I visit or any God I pray. But I was not having that much belief on Him, rather I would say, I didn’t have much awareness about His leelas.

In 2009, I was under tremendous pressure without job and misunderstanding with my husband. I was in my parents place for more than 4 months along with my son who was 3 years then. One day, my sister-in-law sent me 9 weeks Sai Vrat book in courier and told me on how the pooja should be done. Though I didn’t have much faith, I was under pressure that I was doing whatever people said, including the name change.
As I started reading, my faith grew slowly.

Miracle 1 – After 8 weeks of Vrat, I got a call from the company where I am currently working (IT MNC company), saying they had got my profile and asked for an interview slot where I had not applied for any job. It so happened that my mom and me completed the 9 th week pooja and had arranged for an annadanam at Sai Baba temple.

Miracle 2 -My son, who was 3 years then, immersed my mobile in a cup of water. Generally, the mobile parts would be wet and mobile would not in working condition. What happened to me was entirely different. To my surprise, mobile was in a good working condition and I had given my first round of interview. As soon as the interview was over, my mobile switched off automatically. My belief in Him
increased still further. After 5 rounds of interview I got an offer from the company where I am currently
working for almost 9 years now.

Miracle 3 – I had read about Sai Satcharitra book and I was badly wanting to get a book for me to complete a parayan in 1 week. I took my dad’s bike to offer my prayers at Sai Baba temple, Mylapore.
Since the bike was in reserve state, I planned to fill petrol and then proceed to temple. Bike was jammed
even before I reached the petrol station and even after filling the tank, bike didn’t start. I was alone on
the bunk and without knowing what to do further, started proceeding towards home from bunk by
manually pushing the bike fearing how would I cross the traffic zone. To my surprise, a boy with 16 – 18 years stopped near me and asked me for the problem. I explained him the situation and his words were “You sit on bike, don’t turn back. I will push the bike with my leg. Please do not turn back.” I sat on bike without turning back and crossed signals and traffic zone. When my destination arrived, I stopped and asked him for payment. He said “no need akka”. I forcefully gave him Rs 50 and when I turned back to tell thanks, I couldn’t find him to my possible eyesight. I realized, it was Baba Himself Who came down to help me and those were the words of Baba Himself. Even today when I cross that place, I would tell myself Sainath. My devotion to Baba increased many folds and He became my saviour and one within me. Many more miracles I faced to follow in next blog.
