My name is Vijayalakshmi from Mahaparayan group.
There is Ganesha mandir right behind my house, which was built just a year back.
Every Tuesday, we group of ladies recite Lalitha Sahasthranaama and sing few Devaranama.
On one fine day during aarthi time, one of the devotees who came to Ganesha temple explained to us about the concept of Mahaparayan which was for the occasion of 100 years of Sai Baba’s Samadhi.

We were told to read Sai Satcharitra 2 chapters on every Thursday and intimate the same in the WhatsApp group.
Though I had been to Shirdi previously, I had never given a thought to Sai Satcharitra before and hence took a vow to begin Satcharitra Parayan from the upcoming Thursday. It had been 3 weeks into the Parayana and I had a feeling of immense happiness. But on the 4th week’s Thursday which had fallen during Navarathri, we had a plan to travel to Chandigarh, hence I was thinking in my mind that I would not be able to do the Mahaparayan; yet started off to the tour on Tuesday.

6 years earlier, I had undergone a Knee operation which did not stop me nor bother me from going on tours. But on Wednesday when I got down for sightseeing, I got extreme knee pain. Hence, I sat back in the van and started worrying about my rest of the tour which lasted for another 8 days.
While I was in van I started praying to Sai and said, “I have read many Leelas from Satcharitra that you have healed numerous pains/diseases, so kindly heal my knee pain too Sai. Then I tuned on to YouTube and was listening to ‘Sai Ram Sai Shyam’ song.

Next day i.e. Thursday, by evening my knee pain had gradually reduced and the same day was Vijayadashami which was Sai’s 100th Mahasamadhi day, and co-incidentally it was my birthday too. My co-travellers and my friends had arranged for cake cutting and I shared the same with all.
The merciful Sai on His 100th Mahasamadhi day miraculously vanished my knee pain, due to which I enjoyed rest of my tour with full of energy and all happiness.
