Recent Mahaparayan Experiences – Baba Blesses Us

Shirdi Sai Devotee Geeta Rao ji from U.S. Says: Namaste Pooja ji. I am sharing here my recent experiences. I have been a part of the Mahaparayan group for several months now. Baba is a part and parcel of every moment of my life.

From September of 2018, we have been facing challenges with regard to my husband’s health. He’s been diagnosed with a rare disease that requires a difficult treatment regimen and my support, every moment, is Baba. On this Monday, we have an appointment for a second opinion and I will post about my husband’s health after that. Sai, I seek Your blessings for my husband’s health. Sai, please be there with us in this difficult hour.

In the interim, while we are dealing with health issues, my Sai has taken care of other aspects of our lives. Our older son had a civil marriage ceremony and my husband was able to attend. Everything went off very well with Sai’s blessings and we welcomed our beautiful daughter-in-law home. We had to postpone the ceremony in India on account of my husband’s health. With Baba’s grace, that too will happen and He will bring us all to Shirdi. It is my heartfelt wish to come to Shirdi with my husband and may Baba make this happen. Our apartment in Delhi was sold finally and the transaction was completed by our nephew without difficulty. This too has happened with Baba’s blessings.

Our younger son is a consultant and travels every week to his project site. He also recently submitted his MBA applications and was interviewed at different universities. So, there’s been a lot of stress and twice in a row, our son left his suitcase in an Uber taxi and then the following week left his laptop bag somewhere after clearing security in the airport. Both times, I kept chanting Sai’s name and praying to Him to help my child recover his belongings. Especially the laptop bag was very important to find as the laptop had all his office work. Of course, Baba wouldn’t allow him to lose his things! The Uber driver was tracked, and he returned the suitcase and my son reached the airport in time to board his flight. His laptop bag was returned to a security guard in the airport and my son got it from the Lost and Found counter within a short time. Thank You, Sai.

Our younger son was accepted yesterday to a top business school in the US with a merit scholarship. The call came first thing on a Thursday morning. His interview at this school also took place on a Thursday. On the previous day, that is a Wednesday, another result from another school was declared and the whole day my son waited in stress for an acceptance call. I was at home, praying and quite baffled that the call didn’t come as both his recommenders were from this school and he was certain of getting admission here. We were despondent, and I was wondering why Baba was giving us more stress and grief at a very difficult time. We are ignorant and don’t very often understand Baba’s plans for us or the lessons He is teaching us along the way. All of us felt completely defeated and were quite sure that he wouldn’t be accepted to the school whose results would be announced the next day, on a Thursday. Earlier, during the weekend, my son came with me to Shirdi Baba’s temple to pray and ask for Baba’s blessings for his admissions. I want both my sons to always have faith in Baba, to always trust Him and I kept praying to Sai that since my son had worked hard and had done everything he could on his part, Baba should pull that final string to make the admission happen. Without Baba’s blessing, no matter how hard you try, things cannot fall into place.

My Baba blessed my son abundantly and kept his faith intact. Early on Thursday morning, by about 8:15am the admission office called my son to say that he had been accepted to Wharton and that an email would follow. The email came later in the day to say that he was also being offered a merit scholarship. Baba, I cannot thank You enough. My son works very hard, takes everything very seriously, but doesn’t still have the level of maturity to accept things gracefully when they don’t work out the way he wants them to. I pray to Baba to help him grow, to let go, to be gracious, and trusting wholly in Sai. Not getting into a good school this year would have meant continuing to work (which is way too intense) and having the motivation to reapply next year. Thank You, Sai for giving our son this precious opportunity (You gave our older son the same opportunity and took care of him) and blessed him to make the best of it.
Thank You, Sai. From now on, my focus will be on my husband and his health. Please Sai, heal him and give me strength, physical and mental, to go through the process. Please Sai, take care of my husband.

He will fulfill all our materialistic wants and make us walk on the path where He wants us to.
