Baba Blessed My Dad To Attain Sadgati

Shirdi Sai Devotee Vaniji From India Says: Om Sai Ram! I am Vani Bhagavath from Bangalore. I joined Mahaparayan group last year 2018 September. I have had many experiences of Baba’s presence in my life and feel so blessed to have connected with Him.

Last June 6th in 2018, I landed in Bangalore for good (as I was residing in Muscat for 20 years) and the same day my dad was hospitalized and diagnosed with lung cancer. My dad had led a wonderful happy and contented life for the last 85 years and we didn’t want to see any sufferings because of the illness. So, I started praying for his good health and if he has to go then we should not see him suffering.

Just after a month, my dad got back to normalcy and was on medication on a regular basis. Baba got him back to his normal life without us feeling that he has the disease. As I was staying at my parent’s house to take care of my dad, I thought since dad became alright and my daughter joined college as well, it was apt for us to move out and stay separately. So, I found an apartment and moved. Dad was also happy seeing me settled and calling all his relatives and friends home for dinners and treating them etc. Then after about eight months dad got disoriented and I got him home. My dad was very happy coming and staying with me. Day by day I saw him going down a little. But there was no pain or suffering.

I started praying every day to Baba to give him moksha and sadgati. As if he deteriorated further, I would not be able to see him. One Thursday I got the reading of Mahasamadhi chapter and I thought to myself. “Baba, You went peacefully whenever You wanted, leaving behind all the devotees, but for my dad
You are not allowing him to go peacefully. Why are You keeping him more Baba? He is going to be dependent and my dad would never like that. Please Baba, it’s hard for me to ask all this but I don’t want him to suffer while he takes his last breath. I just need him to have a very peaceful ending.”

These were my prayers on May 30th. My dad took his last breath on June 5th while he was sleeping (Eid day) exactly one year from his diagnosis. That was also my one year of completing my arrival to India.

I thanked Baba for giving me an opportunity to be with him for complete 365 days. To be with him every moment when he needed me and to be able to take care of him in his last stages. Jai Ho Sai! Thank You so much for all Your blessings on me and I really love You Baba. I just want to stay in Your heart all the time and remain with Your prayers.

Yes, Mahaparayan is indeed a blessing of Baba in this Kaliyuga; gifted to His children during the preparations for the Centenary Year of His Mahasamadhi. Let us keep remembering Baba, love Him unconditionally and keep reading Sai Satcharitra with love, reverence and without any expectations. Baba will take care of everything, fulfill our wishes at His timings and help us feel the bliss. He will help us to purify our minds, wash our sins and achieve our final goal of self realisation.
