Baba’s Help During The Pandemic

Shirdi Sai Mahaparayan Devotee Sharaan From Australia Says: Sai Ram to All. It is early March 2020 and unfortunately, a pandemic has taken over the world. The Coronavirus is getting worse day by day and affecting many countries around the world. My husband and I have a need for urgent travel overseas, as in the last few weeks, my father-in-law has been talking about death. We have purchased our tickets to travel and our flight is in a few days. I was getting quite worried and my husband kept telling me that I didn’t need to go if I didn’t want to, as the situation was getting worse and that everything was uncertain. He said whatever my decision, he would stand by me. On the other hand, he said that he needed to go to see his father and mother because, should anything unfortunate happen, he will never forgive himself. I told my husband that I was not going for him but instead I myself wanted to be with father and mother too.

It’s Thursday, 12th March 2020 and today’s Mahaparayan reading is dedicated to Baba to Save the World from this virus. In my mind, I asked Baba if I should go or cancel my travel plans and I was getting anxious. I started reading my allotted chapters and part of my reading of chapter 46 was Shama and Appa Kote “feeling uneasy on hearing that plague was prevailing in Gaya” and the Gayawala response of “Please come without any fear or anxiety and see for yourself” it was I felt, Baba’s response to my uneasiness and anxiety about my travel to Malaysia.

Here in Australia, we are strongly advised to inform the government on their travel website of any international travels, which I did. One day before my trip, I received a message alert from this government website, “to reconsider our travel.” I just prayed to Baba that “Baba, You know I have to go see my mother and father- in-law. So please Baba, You take care of everything and bless us to come back as planned. You also know that my daughter is pregnant and needs me here too.”

We left on Saturday 14th March and went straight to my in-law’s place. We stayed at home and did not go out. Day by day the situation was getting worse as we all know. Countries were closing their borders. 2 days after I arrived in Malaysia, they had closed their borders to foreign citizens. I thanked Baba for letting me through into the country.

A couple of days after, (Wednesday 18th March) Australia told its citizens to return ASAP. My daughter was updating me and said they may close the borders and flights will most likely be grounded. I kept insisting that I needed to spend some quality time with my in-laws. On the other hand, I didn’t want to be stuck and get back to my daughter as I said, she is in her 4th month of pregnancy. I wouldn’t have minded if it was any other time to be able to spend extra weeks or months with my in-laws.

That night, my husband told me that if I wanted to go back I should but, he would stay on until our return flight which was 4 April. I was quite anxious and said “I don’t know what to do!” I attempted to go online and see if I could change my flight but it couldn’t be done.

The next morning, I suddenly felt this urgency to go back. I called my sister (who lives in Kuala Lumpur) and told her I need to go back but I was unable to change my flight online. She took my reservation details and said that she would call around and get back to me. After some time, she called me back and said “they were canceling flights. Let’s go to the airport and see what we can do. If you like, I will come to pick you up, so pack your bags just in case you get a seat for tonight.” I was overwhelmed as everything was happening so suddenly. I was hesitating but felt that this was urgent. My husband told me to go with my sister as it would take him a few hours to take me instead. It was a Thursday, I asked for help in my Mahaparayan group for someone to read my allotted chapters.

With a heavy heart, I packed my bags and waited for my sister who had driven 40 km away to come to pick me up. I bid farewell to my in-laws and my husband. We drove another 60 km in torrential rain to the airport. There were no flights for that night and the next day’s flight was full. I managed to get a seat for the next available flight to Melbourne on Saturday 21 March. I was having mixed feelings and emotions. On one hand I was relieved to be going home but on the other hand, I didn’t know if my husband would be having any luck as situations were changing by the hour.

If anyone had travelled during these times, they would have had the same feeling I was having. It was very surreal. It was like you were in a Virtual Reality environment where the few that were travelling were in masks including myself. Arrived in Melbourne on Saturday evening. I had only been away for 1 week instead of the original 3 weeks. I was lucky that I was able to go home but was required by law to self-isolate for 14 days. My daughter was relieved too, knowing that after 14 days I will be able to be there for her. I was in my room for 14 days with my daughter/son-in-law serving me my meals on a tray in my room.

3 days after my return, the airlines cancelled the return flight for my husband, who was still in Malaysia. I advised my husband to personally go to the airport, to see if the airline can put him on their next available flight. He was put on their next flight which was a month away i.e. 1st May. The airline said that there were no flights for all of April but it could change. As we both were originally on the same reservation, he found out that the flight I was on was the 2nd last flight from Kuala Lumpur to Melbourne. Baba I am very thankful as You have blessed me to go see my in-laws on this very short trip and come home safe. Please bring my husband back soon.

A couple of days after my husband went to the airport to change his flight, my eldest sister did some prayers and advised him to call the airlines again and enquire if they had any earlier flights. He was hesitant but at the same time, he knew that he had to eventually get a return flight. He called and surprisingly enough, there were a couple of flights available. He was booked on 8th April and arriving in Melbourne on Thursday 9th April. By now, all arriving residents/citizens will have to be quarantined in a hotel (paid by the government) for 14 days. He arrived at midnight Thursday and is currently in quarantine at the hotel next to the airport. I am very well aware of Baba’s hand in all, including Baba bringing him home safely.

A year ago, my last post “Only Sai is the Answer” on how ONLY with Baba’s Divine Intervention, was my 20-year-long- separation between my husband and me, put to an end. My husband and I have since been together, travelling between the US and Australia. It was our 14th Wedding Anniversary (1st June) yesterday and the 2nd one that we got to be together.

It’s been 3 years since Baba came into my life, which was around Mother’s Day. Ironically, I also lost my mother around Mother’s Day (9 years ago). In this very short time, Baba came into my life. He literally held my hand in my dream and did what no one else could do, despite my prayers and cries for 20 years. Baba also gave me His Darshan in Shirdi. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You, Baba.

In Sai Satcharitra, It is said that “If their turn did not come, Baba would not acknowledge them and His leelas could not reach their ears.” Koti Koti Pranam Baba for accepting me as Your devotee. Baba, please forgive us for our sins and have mercy on those of us who are lost in this ocean of mundane existence and with Your grace, remove our ignorance and hold our hands and guide us to Your divine lotus feet.

PS: Thanking Pooja Ji and her entire team and all Baba’s devotees for making this online Satcharitra possible with daily contributions of Baba’s leelas and continuing to do so with Baba’s blessings.

Universal Prayer

Let Everyone Be Happy
Let Everyone Be Healthy
Give Us the Strength to See Good in Others
Let no Sorrow come to Anyone
Om Peace, Peace, Peace.

Mahaparayan Experience

Anonymous Shirdi Sai Mahaparayan Devotee Says: Om Sai Ram! I am a part of the Mahaparayan group and would like to be introduced as an anonymous Sai devotee.

From the day I was introduced to the Mahaparayan till today, I have experienced Sai’s leela in various forms. In June 2019, I gave my first attempt in a competitive exam with bare preparation. I was sure that I would not make it. However, by Sai’s grace, I could clear the first round and was called for the interview. In addition, my father got promoted and was waiting for his posting. There were rumours that he would not get the desired seat. But, we had full faith in Baba and He listened to our prayers.

I can’t thank Baba enough of how He has protected us. He always supports and looks after us. Mahaparayan has now become a part and parcel of my life. The strength in our collective prayers is immense. I would like to pray to Baba that He eliminates the corona virus and keeps us all safe.

I am also thankful to Pooja Mam for helping us to share Baba’s miracles through this platform.

May Sai bless us! Om Sai Ram!

  1. Dear Poojaji,

It's not necessary to publish this post, if you think it is not necessary.
You have been very kind and have been posting 2 posts everyday since July 24th, a day after I sent you a lengthy message.
I have been reading the devotees experiences and your message in red and that's what keeps me going, even though I may not have posted a comment everyday.
My uncle regarding whom I had posted a request for a group prayer and whose biopsy results confirmed that it was not malignancy, got admitted to the hospital, once again on August 6th, early morning.
Yes, he does not have cancer for sure, but he is not able to eat and they have started him on drips, as he is unable to eat.
He does not know that I have written a book on Baba, and I had mentioned the reason for the same in my post dated 23rd and 24th.
Baba has been giving me assurances and reassurances constantly through MP posts and I believe that what He says comes true to the word.
However, I am in the worst stage you can imagine as my uncle's health is deteriorating and food is given through drips.
I will be able to publish my book on Baba with happiness, only if my dearest uncle recovers.
I have poured out my Leelas and have praised Baba to the skies in the book as he He is truly great and deserves that and more.
I did not even spend much time with my dear mother etc as I was drawn to Baba like a magnet and spent most of my time in writing my book for which I have no regrets.
If anyone can make me spend more time with Him, more than the time I spend with my parents or family, it has to be only Baba( God).
I only want Baba to save my uncle.
I am going to start chanting Om Sai Rakshak Saranam Deva from now continuously as I saw that minutes back after praying hard to Baba.
Please pray for him, his recovery and hold a group prayer for him if possible.
Will be grateful to you till the last breath of my life.
I wanted to write to you independently to pray for him, when I read the 2nd experience today, which mentioned about group prayers. I am speaking the truth. Please help.
Om Sai Ram πŸ™ Om Sai Rakshak Saranam Deva.

  4. Dear Poojaji,
Sorry for my earlier mails, troubling you too much. It's fine if you dont publish them. Please pray for my uncle, that's enough.
For the past one hour, I have been chanting Om Sai Rakshak Saranam Deva continuously aiming to chant atleast 1008 times.
Also, I would like to tell you, one thing. As suggested by you in one of the recent posts, I applied Udi on my forehead and lit a ghee lamp and read 2 paragraphs from the Greatness of Udi chapter from the Sai Satcharitha and prayed from the bottom of my heart for my uncle.
After praying sincerely, I asked Baba to give me an indication that my uncle would be alright and recover through today's Mahaparayan post. I read it after praying sincerely. I usually read it at bedtime, but as I was distressed today, I read it after praying to Baba and asking Him for an indication. The words that first appeared were Succes in your work. I took it as a positive sign,as if Baba was telling me that your prayers will be a success. Will continue chanting Om Sai Rakshak Saranam Deva, as I feel that Baba is asking me to chant the same. Baba has been giving me positive signs and assurances for quite sometime like ' Trust in Me, your prayer shall be answered, Baba is our Saviour and so many more through MP messages. Like you have mentioned rightly today, my courage was broken. My mind was distracted and I couldn't understand anything.
I am sharing all this with you as I dont have anyone to share with at this moment and being a great devotee of Baba, you will understand my situation.
I will not be disappointed if my messages dont get published. I am in fact sorry for bombarding you with so many messages; I will not repeat it in future.; but please pray for my uncle and I will inform you by a one sentenced message, when he recovers as I have faith in Baba's words and I believe that they ARE His signals and assurances to His ordinary devotee, that is Me.
Sorry for the trouble and thank you so much for reading this.
    Om Sai RamπŸ™

  5. One last sentence Poojaji, how did you type,' Night of darkness, courage is broken and you can't understand anything'; so apt and appropriate for the situation, I am in, today ? '
Baba, you are truly great and Baba does operate through you, Poojaji.
