My Mahaparayan Journey

Shirdi Sai Devotee Chaudharyji Says:

Sai Ram! I am Mrs.Chaudhary an ordinary devotee of Baba from MP-1653 Bindu Sai group. I clearly remember when Bindu ji wrote in our WhatsApp group that she was the teacher of a class of parayan of Sai Satcharitra. I responded with a Yes. But grew anxious about it as the days went past. What was Mahaparayan (I didn’t know the meaning of the word)? Would I be able to read it? Was not a year’s commitment too long? Reading from the online copy (this was a big stumbling block)? On my small phone? I was tempted to leave, yet stayed on to try.

When the parayan started, I found that it was lovely and enjoyable. The stories changed me in small simple ways. They made me more calm, generous and centred in self. More like I was as a child.

Many miracles also took place. I will narrate just one. At that time, I was suffering from digestive issues. My stomach had swollen to the size of a 3-4 months pregnant woman and was filled with gas. The reports showed grade 2 fatty liver. The doctor feared blockage in the digestive track and advised an endoscopy. I was reluctant to get any invasive procedure done. This was the time when Bindu ji suggested the Mahaparayan and I said yes. Then an old friend (from my college days) called me suddenly and requested my company to go to a naturopathic treatment centre. She was unaware of my health issues. My inner feeling was that I should try out this treatment. This proved to be the way to recovery. My liver was cured in the following three months. The reports are available in black and white. One might question how this is possible? How did the friend find the clinic? How did she think of contacting me?

I only know that many, many coincidences like these occur in my life now. I know that Baba has my back. That Baba fills me with love every time I read the chapters. That there is more joy in me now. That I feel my ego crumbled. I pray that Baba bless Pooja ji who started this Mahaparayan and Bindu ji who brought it to me.

  Baba has His own ways be it pulling His sparrows to Shirdi or into Mahaparayan and thus setting them on to read Sai Satcharitra. His ways are His ways and we cannot understand them fully but surely one thing we can believe blindly that they will only do us good! Baba will destroy our ego, fulfill our desires, make us desireless and thus make us attain self realisation. His plans are the best, have no doubts about it! Love You Deva. Jai Jai Ho Sai. 😊
