Baba Saved Me From Disgrace At Work

Shirdi Sai Devotee Ranjaniji Says:

Om Sai Ram. My name is Ranjani and I am in MP-391. I wanted to share how Baba got me out of a very difficult situation at work.

I am in a new role at work now and not completely conversant with some of the processes. Last week, I offered to handle a bank transaction of significant volume as my boss was going on vacation and would have had to execute it from home. My boss after much thought gave me the responsibility but I knew she was not very confident that I could handle it. For my part, I felt like I had to try and run it by myself to make sure I understand how it works.

Yesterday, when I ran the file it seemed to need more edits than usual and nobody was sure how it was going to work. However, the file was successfully created and I released the payment and was very happy with myself that I had accomplished the task on hand. On my way back home much later in the evening, I abruptly remembered that I had missed one key precursor step which was needed to authorize the cash flow. I was so upset and was berating myself wondering how I could forget this. One task I had taken up and I failed. I was very upset and also worried as it was a legal requirement that might have not been complied. After much fretting, I left it in Deva’s hands.

I came home and prayed and promised to post my experience if all worked out. I chided myself for taking it lightly when people post experiences about mistakes made at work but didn’t get yelled at by their boss/supervisors. I felt really small. I got to work early this morning to try to resolve the issue. I was very afraid to reprocess the transaction because I did not want to duplicate the cash outflow. Finally, I decided to take the chance and initiated the process again. However, midway it needed a password reset and I was transferred to a customer service agent. After some back and forth she was able to confirm that she could see the entry and was able to release it for me. The relief I felt was incredible.

Thank You, Baba for helping me through this and keeping my ego in check. I am forever indebted to You for all Your blessings and grace.

Let the ego go away and be most meek, modest, humble and devote to our Lord Sai, chant His name and serve Him in some way. When we surrender our ego at His feet He takes care of our self respect too. He knows everything, everyone in and out and all the circumstances that each one of us is going through. He knows our every little thought.
