Blessings From Baba

Vyasarayani Jayasri From India Says: I have been a member of this Mahaparayan group from October 2019. Baba has been the guiding force for me for more than two decades.

I would like to share with you all the wonderful experience of Baba’s blessings on me and my family during the Upanayanam of my grandson. After the invitations were printed, I placed the card on the divine feet of Baba in a mandir at Valasaravakkam, Nanganallur Anjaneyar temple and at TTD temple at Venkatnarayana Road and sought all their blessings for the function to be conducted in a smooth manner without any obstacles. I prayed to Baba that He should be there with me and help me.The day before the Upanayanam, we had Maavilakku, Sumangali Pooja, Nalangu and all that. On that day, I had about 50 members for lunch. My cousin had come from Nizamabad to attend the function. When lunch was served, she suddenly took out a picture of Baba, as found in Dwarakamayee and gave it to me. For those of you who have read His Satcharitra, there are so many incidents narrated there about Baba visiting the homes of devotees in some form or the other. To me, I fully believed that Baba had come home to partake my humble offering.

Next day, after the Brahmopadesam, the priest in the Vinayaka temple, whom we had invited, came for the function and blessed Raghav, with a tissue shawl wherein Baba’s face was woven all over. This was another goosebumps moment for me and I firmly believed that it was nothing but Baba’s presence to bless Raghav.

The function was going on well and I was busy receiving the invitees and talking to them and didn’t know about the tension that my daughter and son-in-law were going through. My sister’s son and my son-in-law were made in charge of taking care of the guests in the dining hall. At that time, my son-in-law’s gold chain had fallen off from his neck but he was not aware of it. After two hours or so, he realised that his chain was missing. By then more than 300 people had their breakfast there, and there was no way they could ask anybody.

As they were searching in the dining hall, one of the servers brought it saying that he had found it there and was waiting for the real owner to come and claim it. I was blissfully unaware of all these and was told only long after it was all over. This once again, reiterated to me that Baba was with me all through to ensure the smooth conduct of the function. Loss of the chain would have affected us sentimentally and spoilt our happiness. But Baba ensured that no such thing happened and we are only left with happy memories of the function.

Every day, I thank Him for His benevolence and blessings. For those of you, who have faith in Him, please read the first chapter of His Satcharithra every day, to ward off this evil virus. Aum Sai Ram.
