Baba Blessed Me To Complete Reading Of Satcharitra After 10 Years

Sai Ram! Thank You for providing a platform to share experiences.
When I was in high school, I used to visit Baba’s temple to accompany my friend who was asked to distribute chana prasad in temple by her mother. She used to take me to the temple. We sang aarthis. We distributed prasad. I used to enjoy eating other prasads also. Just for the sake of my friend and sweet prasads I used to go.

One day my friend’s mother told her to read Sai Satcharitra and be confident as she was scared of maths exam. She told to read any page so that she will be fine. My friend told me that we get answers from God through this book. We both read one page or paragraph don’t remember exactly, but we read something. Somewhat I started believing in Baba. Later, we both joined different colleges. We didn’t get time to meet. But still if I think now, in that new college which was very far from home and it was the other side of the ocean where I knew no one and no one knew me, I made friends and they were Baba’s devotees. They gave me love like no one else gave till that time. Those friends became more than my parents and God. I used to go to Baba’s temple with them. Seeing their love towards Baba, I also started loving Baba. Seeing them I also started having Udi. I started talking to Baba, asking for good grades and not to fail me in any subject. It was a wonder when results came, all my friends got one or two or three backlogs but I didn’t get even one backlog. Everyone was shocked including me. As per my promise, I went and did 108 pradakshina for Baba. And my faith increased in Baba.

In between my high-school friend met me and gave Sai Leelamrutam book for me. I read it after a year. I read it only to fulfil my wish and my wish got fulfilled. Then I changed totally. I see myself as a different person. I wanted to read real Sai Satcharitra and was waiting for that book from that time. Then one of my brother-in-law’s saw my devotion towards Baba and gave me one more Sai Baba life story book. I took it as a blessing from Baba and read it. It was also written beautifully. But I thought still I didn’t read Hemadpanth’s Sai Satcharitra.
I even bought Sai Satcharitra books and distributed also. But never got a chance to read it.

I downloaded from website and thought to read. But it didn’t happen. Years passed. There was a thought in my mind always that I should read real Sai Satcharitra which Baba Himself wrote. This time I downloaded audio and somehow because of my laziness I used to postpone. Again a few months passed. And last Thursday, all of a sudden, I started reading parayan like every time how I start and praying let me complete this time. I read only 2-3 lines and thought to read the next day. And successfully I read.

Then my mother said marriage bureau uncle was coming to see me. He had called and told her. He said that he would come on Wednesday. But my mother told him to come on Thursday as it was my sentimental day. I got happy because I was asking Baba to set my marriage which was getting postponed for a few months. I completed Fridays but Thursday was still pending. However, thinking that I should complete this time I was reading. Saturday I completed Thursdays chapters but still Saturday’s chapters remained pending. Likewise, few chapters I left everyday thinking the next day I would read. And today, Wednesday, successfully I completed every chapter. When I saw the time, it was 10.48 where Baba’s shej aarti would be done and Wednesday would be over. By that time I also completed doing Sai Satcharitra.
Finally, I made it. I completed It this time. Thank You Sai Maa for making me read and complete It.

I am in the excitement of my marriage and have left the decision to Baba as always, that is how my final decisions are made. Whatever I think, however I think, however long I think no matter for days, months and years, at the end I leave everything at Baba’s feet and ask Him to take decision for me.

Now I will read Ramayan, Ramvijaya, 4th chapter Bhagwat Geetha which are pending from years. Baba, You ordered through questions and answers to read them. But I couldn’t do it. Please bless me and make me read them. Tomorrow I’m thinking of starting Ramayan. Please help me Sai Baba.
I am a child of Yours who always gets in maya, pain, excitement, sadness, happy very easily in routine life. But You always make sure to pull me towards You and keep me with You. Though I couldn’t read or do what You say, I always think and take Your name Sai all day and night. Thanks for understanding my love and care for You. I always want You and I need You as my best Friend, Mother, Father, Guide. I have no one except You Baba. Thanks for always keeping my family and me safe, giving always a new life from death bed whenever needed. Please protect my family even when I am in my in-law’s home after my marriage. When I am not at home please continue to be with them and save them, consider them when they don’t pray to You like me.

Sai Satcharitra is just not a ‘Red book’ but It’s truly the magical book or rather Baba Himself. This one book when read with complete love and surrender to Baba, can change our lives beyond our imagination. So let us keep reading It and Baba will solve all our problems. Love You Deva.
