Sai Maa – My Saviour

Shirdi Sai Devotee Sarikaji Says:
Om Sai Ram to all the dear Sai devotees. I am here again sharing yet another beautiful experience of Sai’s leela in my life.

Couple of weeks back, my 8 years old daughter fell sick all of a sudden and she woke up early morning with fever. By the day, her temperature suddenly shot up to 103 and I was shocked to see the red indicator in the thermometer. I immediately rushed her to a close by hospital and got her examined by the doctor. By then, she had started vomiting continuously and was dehydrated. The doctor suspected it to be pneumonia and since we had already taken an appointment with her pediac who was available only in the evening, I was asked to get her blood test and X-ray done while I visit her pediac. For the time being, this doctor gave some medicines for fever.

By evening her vomiting had increased and we got her examined by her pediac. He too suspected that it might be pneumonia and asked us to do a blood test. Meanwhile she was put on saline, as she was totally dehydrated. It was a Thursday and ekadashi too. As my friend persistently kept telling me to fast that day, I had started off my day with only water.

Normally, I never fast as I can’t stay without food. But that day I somehow had made up my mind to fast until evening and drink only water. Was not sure how I would manage the whole day without food. But, seeing my daughter’s condition that day I totally forgot about my hunger and was only praying to Sai to heal her soon and was hoping for the reports to be negative. To our surprise, the blood report was not bad as expected by the doctor and he too was surprised. But to confirm further, he asked us to go for X-ray. Luckily, the X-ray showed Bronchitis and not pneumonia. It was a big relief to us. However, the doctor warned us that her condition might get worse at midnight and we may have to hospitalize her if fever or vomiting did not abate.

I just kept praying to Sai and told Him that I shall pen down my experience, if my daughter recovers without having to get hospitalised. Our Merciful Sai showed His leelas yet again and she was fine by the next day. After 2 days she was good to go and the doctor too was happy seeing her recovery. Sai has always been my inner strength and has always heard my prayers. Keep blessing each and every one of us Sai and make this earth a better place to live in.

 Sai is just not Doctor of doctors, Master of all masters but Mother of all mothers too. Then why fear when we have the blessings of Sai Who is just not our Baba but also our Maa? He is the most merciful and takes all the care. Do not worry a jot for He will do what is best for us. Love You Deva. Jai Jai Ho Sai. 😊
