Baba Established My Faith

Shirdi Sai Devotee Ritikaji Says:

Sai Ram! This is my second course of doing the parayan every Thursday. But past few experiences were dwindling my faith in doing this. I read about experiences and felt nothing like this happened with me. But I continued.

One day my 2 years old daughter suffered from a viral illness which turned out to be quite severe with her getting around 20 mouth ulcers. Making her drink even a sip of water was becoming difficult. She had become very weak with not more than a few sips of water or glucon-d each day for almost 3-4 days. One night she couldn’t sleep out of pain and hunger and was crying. I just patted on her head continuously, chanting – ‘Om Sai Ram’ and she fell asleep.

Then next day was a Thursday and I did my parayan but kept thinking subconsciously that if Baba exists, why doesn’t He show me His presence. I challenged Him to prove to me that day with something that seemed impossible that day. While reading, I told Him that if You are listening then she will eat today, and that too solids. Suddenly in the evening, my daughter ate a bowl full of small biscuits. Then she recovered soon and in 1-2 days, she started eating normal food.

My faith was established. After that next Thursday, I was at work and was reading parayan at work as there was little time left. Suddenly, a colleague appeared and was trying to talk. I told him I am doing my parayan. He excused me and 2 minutes later, dropped a packet of Udi over my lap. He being natively from Shirdi always carries Udi with Him. I was delighted as my chapter for that week was about the importance of Udi. Baba showed me His presence again.
