Sai Satcharitra Is A Guide To Reach The Ultimate

I am a member of MP-3418. I learnt about Mahaparayan only recently when I got this opportunity to join the group during lockdown. I went through several experiences shared by devotees which has motivated me to share mine. Since I have joined the group recently, I would like to share my experiences that have blessed me to join this platform.

It all started in 2015, before which I thought Sai as God but was never familiar with His powers. As many students, I also wanted to pursue medicine as my career, with that thought in mind, I had put my efforts. I had to drop a year for the same. But everything was in vain. I almost lost hope that I could study in any good educational institute. That was the time when my mom used to read Sai Satcharitra and made me listen. Listening to the stories, I started to develop faith in Baba. Under my father’s guidance, I started to appear in all possible entrance examinations that a student appears after a higher secondary examination. Since the place where I reside is far from any exam center, I always preferred Mumbai. In order to appear for all those exams, I had to frequently visit Mumbai. Meanwhile I suddenly got affected by dehydration and diarrhoea and I had to go to Mumbai the next day for an important entrance exam (CUCET). Having faith in Baba, after taking medication me and my father started the journey. Next day while heading towards the exam center, I could see many (almost all ) cars having Baba’s stickers or His name pasted on them. It gave me courage. I reached the center just before the bell rang. I gave the exam but did not have any expectations because of my health condition and also that was not my ambition. But when the results were declared, to every one’s surprise my all India rank for biotechnology was 32. I got a merit seat at Central university of Rajasthan.

With His grace I was having a university merit scholarship for all the three years. He gave me a chance to learn and work with wonderful scientist faculties, true friends, scholarship and many more. I started reading Satcharitra on a regular basis for a year or two. But, after completing my bachelors’, in 2018, I moved to Delhi for my Masters again through an entrance examination and scholarship which I qualified only because of Baba’s grace.

But, due to certain circumstances I could not read Satcharitra for more than a year. Of many things happening in an undesired way, this was one. I prayed to Baba to help me start again with my regular reading of Satcharitra. So, finally He has listened to my prayers and has given me this platform. I got this opportunity during this lockdown. What I learnt in these 5 years is that Sai is our Mother and we are all His blessed children. Often, children don’t know that playing with stones can hurt. It is the mother who takes the stone away and protects the child from getting hurt. We may have many desires but we may not know if we are eligible for it. But Sai knows everything. He is sure to give the best. What is needed is complete surrender and firm faith.

Another incident which I would like to share is about charity, donation and devotion. I think in 2016, me and my friend and her relatives got an opportunity to go to Shirdi. We were in the waiting area of the temple premises to get a room. Meanwhile the uncle and my friend went away to find out the whereabouts. After returning uncle told us “I have given Rs. 100 to a fakir asking bhiksha. Now I will not give a single rupee even if Baba comes in front.” It seemed like he had given the sum unwillingly. After we got a room we prepared for noon darshan. Darshan was all fine but what we saw, a priest sitting near the shrine handed Rs. 100 to uncle’s wife. She asked the priest why? He simply replied “keep it.” Whether it should be taken as a blessing or if it was the return of unintentional charity, I don’t know. But what I learnt here was charity of any form should be done by a pure heart and devotion. It is a way to get God’s grace and do away with sins. This is written in Satcharitra which I could experience live.

True faith and trust makes one believe that Sai is a true relative. It happened in 2018. Me and my family got a chance to visit Shirdi and spend the occasion of Diwali and Bhai Dooj there. Darshan and Aarti, all went well. It was the morning of Bhai Dooj day. I learnt the significance of Bhai Dooj and how gladly it is celebrated in Northern parts of India. On that particular day, I don’t know why I felt so unhappy about not having a brother. Since I don’t have any brothers, I used to tie Rakhi to the idol of Sai Baba on every occasion of Raksha bandhan. Also, I missed my sister who was away due to her studies. Before leaving Shirdi we went to the Mukh Darshan area and sat there for some time meditating upon Baba. After I opened my eyes, I saw a gentleman talking to me. We were chit chatting for a while and later my dad joined us. That Bhaiya pointing towards me said to my dad “It feels like I am related to her since generations. I feel like she is my sister.” I could not believe that I had a brother in real life at that particular moment on the day of Bhai Dooj at the shrine besides me. Whenever I think of that moment today, it chokes my throat. It is stated in chapter 33, “He who loved him whole- heartedly, gets a response from him at any time and at any place. He is always by our side and will take any form, appear before the devotee baktha and satisfy him.” This statement was again proven. Satcharitra
is not a mere book. It is a guide to reach the Ultimate. We should always stay motivated and always remember Sai.

Life Saving Sai Mahaparayan Experience

Om Sairam! I am Kavitha Durairaj from Dubai. I am blessed to be a Sai devotee from 2009 and have enjoyed lots of Sai miracles. But I am part of Mahaparayan group MP-6376N1 Vidhya Sai from Dec 2019 through Mr. Sukumar, my well wisher. Initially I had questions before reading the chapter and was surprised to see the answers in the allotted chapters. I have surrendered many times to Sai Appa for problems that cannot be resolved by me. Every time I think about sharing with the MP group but somehow do not open to do that. This time I thought of doing so as He showed a powerful light on our family and proved how strongly He is holding me and my family.

My husband and my son have been doing Parayan sincerely since April 2020 once COVID 19 started. Due to COVID, almost everyone is having SURVIVAL LIFE and cannot have any dreams and lots of people are facing WAR situation. Myself always fear about the future as my past suffered for one time food and the current situation is just SURVIVAL. My son Vignesh wrote Grade 12 exams and being a scholar has high dreams for his further education. But I told my son, in the current scene, don’t expect me to put you in universities as we cannot borrow any further loans nor can afford for education in Dubai or anywhere in the world. So be prepared to stay at home and do some temporary courses for one year or do take-up some job to earn yourself and go for education after one or two years.

With Sai’s blessings, he scored 94.2% and I told him to just check for university fees to know for knowledge as I cannot arrange any funds. He checked for universities and started applying to know about the fees and by Sai’s grace, within one hour he got admitted in a well known university with 100% scholarship. We could not believe ourselves and reconfirmed again and again in writing from university. There are no words to express our gratitude as 100% scholarship is for 5 years and we don’t need to pay any money apart from registration fees. This is Sai’s blessings towards me and my son for his future and Sai told me directly “WHEN I AM THERE, WHY YOU FEAR?” This is an unexpected miracle and without even asking Sai what we wanted and being answered for by just surrendering ourselves at His feet.
