Sai Fulfilled My Desire Of Darshan And Dakshina

Shirdi Sai Global Mahaparayan Devotee Praveen Kumar Singh From India Says: 

Dear Pooja Ji,

I am Praveen Kumar Singh, doing Sai service in the Global Mahaparayan group number MP-7129N1 for the last 1 year. I am also part of a group where we do daily parayan to help devotees get rid of their problems. Through multiple readings of Sri Sai Satcharitra and devotees’ experiences on the blog and podcast, a sudden desire arose in me of seeing Sai Baba and taking His darshan. 

One day in August 2020 (I don’t remember the exact date), I was reading Sri Sai Satcharitra and started thinking that, “Sai Baba blesses so many devotees and shows miracles to them but when will Sai come to my house and take dakshina from me and bless me?”  A part of me also posed this as a test of His presence, even though reluctantly. From that point onward, I kept eagerly waiting for that moment when He would come. Many days have passed like this. 

One Saturday morning, I was sitting in the drawing room when my wife came looking for Rs 10. I told her that there was Rs 20 lying in the drawer and asked her in wonder “Why do you need it?” She said, “There is an old fakir (saint) standing on the street downstairs.” After saying this she went to the balcony to give the money as she could not have gone downstairs because of social distancing. I went after her to see who he was, all the time remembering my question “When will Sai come to my house and take dakshina from me and bless me?”

 My wife called him and said “Ye lijiye (Please take this)”. I was looking at the man eagerly. The moment the old man looked up, I almost got tears in my eyes and a big smile on my face looking at Him. He was Baba in person. His face resembles exactly to that of Baba. His face shone with the same lustre as the Idol in Shirdi’s Mahasamadhi Mandir. He wore a saffron dress – a kafni, a long kurta and a dhoti. We kept looking at Him slowly walking away in the same way as it is described in many chapters of Sai Satcharitra. 

I was swept off my feet looking at Him for that moment. After that moment was over, just to reassure myself I asked my wife “Was He Sai Baba?” She said, “Did you also feel that way? I think He was.” This was a unique experience as we had never seen that man in the vicinity for 5 years of our stay here.

I felt restless for the next few minutes thinking that I should have given him at least Rs 500 but now that He had gone I prayed for another opportunity to pay the dakshina. 

A couple of days later my wife’s sister-in-law was visiting Siddha Balli, a renowned temple of God Hanuman in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. On the day of their visit, my wife was regretting having missed the opportunity to send some money as dakshina in the name of our daughter. My wife’s brother and sister-in-law had told her of their plan to go to Siddha Balli many times in advance but it never struck my wife to send dakshina. On the day of the visit, her sister-in-law called her on her own and said that other relatives had sent money to offer as dakshina. On the phone, my wife told her how she regretted not doing the same. The sister-in-law asked my wife to send the money through a digital payment app. My wife asked me to pay some amount through the app. That was the opportunity I was looking for. I immediately paid Rs 500. The sister-in-law gave us a live darshan of Siddha Balli through a video call. It reminded me of Sai Baba’s saying that saints work in unison.

The human’s desires are such that it never satiates. We still crave for another visit to our house from Sai Baba. For many Saturdays after the visit, my wife kept waiting to see Sai Baba again but we have now realised it may not happen in the near future. Although we saw Him for just a moment, it made an indelible memory for our lifetime and beyond. Om Sairam!

Sai Found My Dad’s Lost Ring 

Shirdi Sai Global Mahaparayan Devotee Kanaka Durka From India Says:

Om Sairam to all.

My name is Kanaka Durka and I am from Chennai. I am a small devotee of Baba and I am living today only because of Baba. His miracles in my life are many.

Today is 27-11-20, my dad had lost his gold ring with yellow sapphire and pearl stone which made me and my mom tense. I was continuously praying Baba to get back the ring and promised to post the experience if I would get it back. Within 1 and half hour my mom’s cousin, one uncle who used to come to our house daily, called and told me that a person from our flats in E block had that ring and it had been found near our car parking. My dad and I went to that person’s house and collected dad’s ring and came back to our house. We also live in the same E block. Our house number is 105 and his house number is 402.

All this which has happened is only because of Baba’s grace and nothing else. Really I’m thankful to Baba and I am seriously nothing without Him. Thank You very much Baba. Please bless all Your devotees Baba. Jai Sairam!
