Baba Calmed Down The Storm

My humble pranam at the lotus feet of Baba. With His grace, I am going to narrate the experience, please keep me anonymous.
My son who has just entered his teens is always very impatient and gets perturbed easily for any small reason. My husband is short-tempered and reactive to certain adverse situations. But however it may, I love both of them, as I feel Baba has kept us together. It is Baba only Who is taking responsibility for my family and me. Many times I get very sad and worried because of the behavior of my husband and my child. It is Baba only Who is sailing across. Last night because of some silly reason my husband got very angry with my son and scolded, shouted very badly at him, and hit him too. I tried to stop him. After that my son who usually sleeps with us, left that room and went to another room to sleep, crying. I tried to console my son, but he didn’t listen. I thought of telling my husband that he shouldn’t scold/hit his son as he was at a growing age. But then I thought that it was of no use as he will start making arguments and the situation will be worse. So, I kept quiet and chanted ‘Kasht Nivaran mantra’, lying on the bed as I was not getting sleep and was praying to Baba, to bring my son to our bedroom. Also, I promised Baba to share this experience.
I was continuously chanting the mantra in my mind. It was the 4th or 5th time of chanting, when my son came to our room and slept between me and my husband. I thanked Baba from the bottom of my heart. Morning when we woke up, my husband hugged both of us as he was feeling sorry for his actions. Then everything became normal.
Baba is always there watching everything and He is just one call away. He fixes not just mobiles, laptops, but also broken hearts, relationships, our minds, thoughts, actions. Baba I am always thankful, grateful to You for always being there for me as my loving father, mother, guide. Baba, this married life, motherhood, family and everything is Your blessing. Many times I don’t understand whether I am playing my role as a wife, mother, daughter, etc. properly or not. So, I am surrendering all these relationships at Your feet. You handle everything, I am an instrument in Your hand.

Wedding During Pandemic Owed To Baba And Mahaparayan

Umpteen number of times Baba has proved that He is always there with me, at times walking besides me, sometimes carrying me in His arms and at other times just watching me as I hop and skip through life. Like how a mother holds her child’s hand always in a crowd, so does Sai not allow His glance to move even a bit. But how a child shirks his mother’s hand and wants to explore everything around, so am I. Knowing fully well that I am in safe hands, sometimes I still lack both Shraddha and Saburi.
But His ways are His ways.
One fine morning in the first week of October 2019, I had just woken up and the phone rang. I picked the call and had just said hello, I heard a voice on the other side ask- “Preet, kya mein tera naam de do Sai Mahaparayan ke liye?”(Meaning can I give your name for Sai Mahaparayan?) The call was from my teacher who means a lot to me. Without even blinking my eyelid, I said, “yes” because it was a fantastic combo of my well meaning teacher, Sai Baba and a Thursday.
On Dussehra day when I had to read my allocated chapters of Mahaparayan I was very excited. Taking Baba’s blessings, I commenced reading, my only sankalp being, let good happen to everyone. I enjoyed it so much that I started looking forward to Thursdays. I would read the parayan with no particular prayer or request to Baba. But my everyday prayer had one request to Baba- “Baba, please find a suitable match for my daughter and the proposal should come by itself. I, as a mother am helpless and I am finding it very difficult.”
A miracle happened. Three months of reading Mahaparayan, sitting at home with no effort, we got a proposal for our daughter from a very nice boy from a good family. The proposal came on 4th February 2020 and everything got fixed on 17th February. The wedding was fixed for 28th June and then the pandemic happened. There were many hurdles. The groom’s father was stuck in the US, the groom in Mumbai and we live in Bangalore. To top up, the boy’s father was diagnosed with covid. In his sickness he insisted that we should finish the wedding on 28th June. Government rules were changing every day for inter state travelers. We were totally lost and did not know what to do. Till 20th June, nothing moved. But then Baba made everything possible. Everything just fell into place. The boy’s father flew in directly into Bangalore just in time to finish his quarantine and attend the wedding, the groom with his family and friends also came in time and with Baba’s blessings, the wedding was celebrated in a nice manner on 29th June 2020.
This pandemic wedding was only possible because of Baba’s grace. I owe it to Mahaparayan.
