My Divine Experience With Shirdi Sai Baba

Shirdi Sai Global Mahaparayan Devotee Shankarnarayanan From India Says: Om Sai Ram!

Part I: 

I first visited Shirdi in 1972 with my grandfather accompanied by my younger sister. At that time I was fourteen years old. My grandfather was a staunch devotee of Baba and used to do bhajans every Thursday. A strange experience occurred in Shirdi. In those days one could have darshan of Baba from a close range in Sai Samadhi Mandir. Also one could do meditation in Samadhi mandir for more than an hour or so. One Sai Bhakta in the age group of 55 to 60 years was selectively distributing Baba’s Eleven sayings. He came to me and gave me one copy of Baba’s sayings. The Baba’s sayings were in silver colour inscribed on a velvet cloth. I was very happy for He chose me  to give one. But my grandfather who was a staunch devotee of Baba was very upset because he didn’t get one. So I gave a copy to him and went in search of the man but couldn’t find him.

My second visit to Shirdi was in 1979 with a so-called Godman. This Godman was exposed in the Shirdi sanctum sanctorum.  Afterwards I decided that I will not bow to any Godmen other than Shirdi Sai Baba.

Part II

With Baba’s grace I got a permanent job in RBI and subsequently in NABARD an offshoot of RBI. Except for my elder sister all my brothers and sisters were married and well settled in life. But during the year 2007, I lost my one of my elder sister and elder brother within a period of 45 days both suffering from rare diseases. They were only 54 and 52 years old. Our family was taken back by this setback. With Baba’s grace we could overcome this turbulent period.

With Baba’s grace I could get a promotion and place of choice as postings. With His grace I could retire in the Senior Management cadre.

Part III

I was once transferred from Hyderabad to Bhubaneswar. My wife works as a teacher in a private school. During 2002 I was transferred to Bhubaneswar from Hyderabad. Both my wife and son were in the same school. My son was very average in his studies. He would hardly do his homework and also not do his studies regularly. My wife was put in an embarrassing position as she used to get complaints from all her fellow teachers. 

We put him for tuition with known teachers after school hours, but he would  hardly pay attention in his tuition class. He is to be very playful and would spend most of the time playing. Everyday I used to get a phone call from my wife at the office that my son used to stand outside for not completing homework or not completing tasks in the school. I thought to improve him I started doing Sai Vratha Puja as also Sai Namaskaram. That is, I used to get up at six in the morning and continuously utter Om Sai Shree Sai, Jai Jai Sai till I went to bed at 10 P.M. This went on for more than one year. I continued Namaskaran along with my Guru Puja (done on every Thursday) specially to improve him. During this time I saw  in Zee Hindi channel a serial showing true experiences of devotees. One such experience was similar to that of my sons. In one of the episode parents of the child requested Sudhir Dalvi (Shirdi Sai film fame) to act as Sai Baba and to appear in the night time in the window of the house to shout at their son that if  he continued harassing their parents he (Baba ) will come to their house and punish him. The boy from the next moment of this incident improved and started studying sincerely. I was thinking of doing the same to my son.

But Baba had other plans. One day after coming back from school my son was sleeping on the sofa. After sleeping for about half an hour he suddenly got up and started crying. He continued crying for more than an hour. My wife was surprised. After some time she rang me up at the office and told us that our son had been crying for more than half an hour. I had to take permission to leave the office early and come to the residence. After composing my son, he narrated that Baba removed his bedspread and shouted at him that if he continued to trouble his parents day in and day out He would punish him. My son started studying seriously after that. This happened when he was in eighth standard. Today he is a Chartered Accountant working in London. All this is because of Baba’s grace. Shradhdha and Saburi advised by Baba have to be adhered to all the time.

Experience During Mahaparayan

During the Lockdown period which started from March 23, I started the Sai Vratha Pooja as also reading of Sai Satcharitra daily, along with Mahaparayan on Thursdays and had completed reading Sai Satcharitra (4 times) till August. One day my son informed me from London that he didn’t get the Star Auditor award in spite of putting in his best efforts even though many of his colleagues got it. This award  is a stepping stone for getting his next promotion. I said, “Don’t worry about it. As I am doing Sai vratha puja and parayan of Sai Satcharitra everyday you will get a promotion.” With Baba’s grace his marriage is finalised and has got his promotion as Manager in Deloitte London from Ist September 2020. This is in spite of very stiff competition and also the number of persons promoted were reduced to one third of the total eligible candidates because of Covid 19. Baba Continues to pour His blessings on us. I owe everything to Baba. Om Sai Ram.

Miracle Happened – Thank You Sai

Om Sai Ram. I am really thankful for this Mahaparayan. Sometimes it answers my questions and sometimes internally I feel it teaches me how to live life. Thank you Pooja Garg and team. I got this experience only after reading Mahaparayan.

Exp 1: Long time, I could not complete my research work. After Mahaparayan I had a strong belief that only Sai can help me. I prayed well and the next day all my issues were sorted out and I was able to move forward and complete my research.

Exp 2 : My infant was sleeping. I kept my mobile beside me. In one second I closed my eyes. My kid took my mobile along with earphones. I got up suddenly and took the earphone. Later on, I noticed one earbud was not there. All house members searched, but we could not find it. This happened on Wednesday. We all got afraid that it must be swallowed by him. I prayed to Sai Baba that nothing should happen to my kid or we should get back that bud. Since we were in confusion whether he had swallowed or not, we rushed to the hospital. The doctor said that there was nothing to worry and waited for two days and closely monitored the kid. I felt very bad and was asking Sai Baba why I had to face this situation.

I said to myself, “trusting You I am going to sleep. Nothing should happen to the kid and also I want to know whether bud is swallowed by him or not.” Today early morning, my dad came with happiness and woke me up and said, “Ear bud has been found and the kid did not swallow.” I felt very happy and thanked Sairam. I felt that He answered my prayers. Thanks to the Mahaparayan team.
