Mahaparayan A True Blessing

My Mahaparayan Experiences:


Experience 1: Baba Got Me Enrolled For Mahaparayan
I am so grateful to Mahaparayan team (Hetalji, Poojaji and all other volunteers) for maintaining this blog. Reading the devotees’ experiences on this blog everyday makes me very happy, spiritual and confident. I am a Baba’s devotee from my teenage years and he has been taking care of me and my family and know for sure that He will do the same forever. Sometime in 2017, I came across Mahaparayan registration details and filled P-forms multiple times, but did not contact anyone from my side. As no one contacted me either, I thought that may be the slots were full and continued Satcharitra parayan on and off. Finally, in last week of October 2018, I got a call and was asked if I was interested in joining MP group. I just grabbed the opportunity. Looking back, I realized that from beginning of 2017 and till Aug 2018, I was very busy at work with long working hours and so I wouldn’t have done full justice to Mahaparayan and so this was Baba’s decision to give me the opportunity at the right time.

Experience 2: Baba showered His blessings on my Son
My Son is doing his undergrad studies (in his second year now) in one of the top universities in US (His admission in this university is in itself was a Baba’s great miracle). Initially, we used to chat or talk quite often. But he became very busy with his course work, research work and internship, sometimes he didn’t reply for 2 days and I used to be worried all the time till I saw his message. One time (this was right after I enrolled in MP group), he did not contact me for few days and was not picking his phone when I tried to call him.

With so many thoughts and worries, one day when I retired to bed; I suddenly woke up in the middle of the night and reached my phone to see if he had replied. There were a couple of messages from him. My son had penned an incident that happened to him that day. He went to a campus restaurant to pick up lunch. While he was awaiting at the restaurant, an old white man (American) in his sixties asked my son if he was from India? When my son replied, he asked if my son was religious and if aware of Shirdi Sai Baba. My Son replied yes and said that his mom (me) is a devotee of Sai Baba. Then that man said that he was an ardent devotee of Shirdi Sai Baba and narrated a story how Baba saved his life when he met with a motor cycle accident during his stay in Bangalore few years ago.

My son was surprised that he came and spoke to him though there were many Indian students around. After reading the messages, I was relieved, stopped worrying and totally believe that man was none other than Baba, and was assuring me that He would take care of my son in that foreign land, millions of miles away. This incident has increased my son’s faith as well and told me that he has kept one picture of Baba in his wallet and placed the other on a wall behind his bed. I had given him 2 pictures of Baba when he had left for his studies. Thank You Baba, we are truly blessed to have Your unconditional love and we always surrender at Your lotus feet. Jai Sai Ram!

3rd experience: My Husband Was Blessed With A Job

My husband was in a senior position in a company but lost his job in May 2018. By Baba’s grace, we got a good package with 6 months’ pay. He was applying for similar positions in India but was not finding a suitable position for his experience. 5 months passed and so he got worried and started applying in US as well. He started getting many calls and for one position he got selected, but was asked to attend personal interview (for final selection) in US on 8th November, which was a Thursday. Fortunately, 8th Nov was my 1st Mahaparayan date, so we thought it as an indication from our beloved Sai to go ahead and attend the interview in US.

 In a span of 3 days, he booked the flight tickets and went to US. He got selected and joined the company the following week. Thanks to Baba for His divine leela. My husband is staying an hour away from my son’s university. My daughter is in 11th grade now and is also planning to go abroad for undergrad studies. For the past one year, we are in dilemma whether to move back to US after my daughter’s 12th grade but have left everything to Baba.

We moved to India for good in 2010 after living in US for more than 10 years. Looks like Baba is already drawing a long term plan for us, first my husband lost his job, did not find a suitable position in India, got a good job within few days when he started applying in US. He got a job in the same state where my son is studying, so that we can pay in state (Resident) fee for my son for his 3rd and final years. His ways are His ways and His timings are always perfect. I am planning to join my husband next year. To be honest, we were so confused and worried how to go about when my kids decided to go to US for their college. They both are brilliant kids and we want to give every opportunity as there is for their education. With Baba’s blessings, everything is falling in place after I started Mahaparayan. What more can I ask for? Koti, Koti Namaskarams To Our Beloved Sai. Om Sai Namo Namah, Sri Sai Namo Namah, Jai Jai Sai Namo Namah, Sadguru Sai Namo Namah.

It’s only Baba Who decides who will read when, where and what for Mahaparayan. He is pulling His sparrows for Mahaparayan just as He pulls them to Shirdi. Yes His ways are His ways with a perfectly perfect timings! When Baba begins to shower His grace on His children He sees to it that everything falls in place and all the possible good things find their way to them. Thank You Baba for making us the part of Mahaparayan and also giving a chance to serve You and actually thus ultimately work on our very own spiritual evolution too. Deva Your association, grace and its impact in real sense makes it a Mahaseva for everyone no matter how small the role for seva is.  Love You Sai. Jai Jai Ho Sai.
