Shirdi Sai Devotee Prathibhaji From Dubai Says: Om Sai Ram. My name is Prathibha. I am from India and an ardent devotee of Baba. Thank you for this page where I can tell all the miracles that have happened in my life because of my Baba.

I was married to a very bad human being and was mistreated every single day. I was pregnant with my child and underwent a lot of distress when my friend gave me Sai Satcharitra and told me to finish reading in a weeks’ time for good fortune. I prayed for my unborn child’s wellbeing and completed reading it in 7 days (Thursday to Wednesday). My delivery was smooth, and I was blessed with a baby boy on 28 November, 2003.

I had completed my bachelor’s in Dentistry by then but when I saw the bad treatment was being extended towards my son as well, I decided to pursue my Master’s degree in order to provide a better life to my son. Baba helped me attain a very good ranking and get a seat in the best colleges in the specialty I had wished. The day I was travelling for admissions the bus met with an accident and my only option was to catch a train from a nearby station. I was praying to Baba all the way as it was the only chance for admission or else my seat would be given to someone else. I reached at 8.35 to the bus station and ran towards the train station. As I entered the station and ran to the ticket counter, I could hear a train honking. The train which was supposed to reach the station at 8.30 am that day reached at 8.45 am. This was only because of Sai’s leela and I was crying when I sat down in the train.

The problems with my bad marriage continued for many years and due to lack of family support and fear associated with naivety of young age, I kept stalling my divorce. I completed my Master’s degree and by Baba’s grace I got a job abroad with a very good salary. I even got my bad husband a job because he was the father of my child hoping he would start caring for us. Things got worse and I came to know he had many affairs and was paying huge sum of money to them, the reason why he never paid a penny for his child’s upbringing, let alone house expenses. I was sickened to the stomach by his behaviour and attitude. He was terminated from the job because of his inefficiency and upon my request he was taken back but he was not interested in staying as a family, so he resigned from his job. When I was not around, he was mentally abusing his own son and the child was very disturbed. I decided to file for divorce that year as now there was a bigger risk of affecting an innocent life. He grudgingly signed a NOC for me to sponsor Sohan my son. He kept mailing bad things about me and how I am not a good mother to my colleagues, dean, provost and even the owner of the company to humiliate and create tension among us. By Baba’s blessings they had seen both of us and knew I was a good mother and a very professional doctor at work! Finally, a warning was sent by the heads to stop this nonsense which went on for many months. Although I was granted divorce 3 years later, he kept challenging the court decree in different courts in order to mentally torture me and to drain me out financially. He made a big problem when it was my son’s passport renewal in 2015. I had to again fight through the court to get it done.

Meanwhile Sohan missed 4-5 months of schooling. He was in grade 5 at that time. I was in deep debt and immense stress during that period because I had to travel from Dubai to Bangalore every weekend and even had to take several days off from work. He signed the NOC this time with a condition of visiting Sohan. We of course had no option but to accept. I even thought it could be for the better after all he was the biological father. But he kept mentally torturing the child during his visits and in 2017 Sohan refused to meet him. Sohan told me to fight for him in the court, that he would not have anything to do with his father. I must protect my child, so I told the same to his father. He did not take it well and he filed a police case against me saying I’m keeping his son against his will! Sohan was 13 years old at that time when he told the inspector that it was his request to not see his father and doesn’t want any contact with him in the future.
Another huge blow to his father’s ego so he started sending threatening emails to me and Sohan saying how we must go back to him for NOC during next passport renewal. Since 2018 there was a big rock sitting on my chest and I started having anxiety attacks because I was constantly worried about the renewal which was due in 2019.

I joined Mahaparayan group of Dubai in March 2019 and my life changed. I was feeling more at peace. I also started Universal prayer where we read one chapter every day and I chose Sohan’s birthday number 28 and I prayed that his passport should get renewed without any issues. June 20th on my birthday we went to Sai temple and a couple gave me Sai Vrata book which was a sign from Baba. So, I started Sai Vrata as well and my confidence kept growing that everything was going to go fine.

Last month I had to renew my passport because it was damaged and the lady in the counter helped me with all paperwork required for Sohan when I explained the case to her. I took a day off from work and went to the Indian consulate early in the morning. I was constantly chanting Sai Ram’s name. Baba is so kind and generous that He granted the permission through the Consulate general within an hour and the big mountain on my chest just melted away like ice. This is the ultimate proof of how Sai works for His children. He had come in my dream last year where His statue grew sky high and He told me that He was watching over me and Sohan no matter how far we were from Shirdi!

Baba Thank You for everything You have given us. Sohan believes in You like You are his father. Please always be there for my Sohan, protect him and guide him. I am forever grateful, and I kiss Your feet every day for being in our lives Baba.

As a single parent i brought them up and baba's grace my children got married and settled in their life. i was left alone and every moment in my life i feel baba is just my side and taking care.
