Baba’s Help In Form Of A Stranger

One day I was driving to my friend’s place because of some work and from there I had to go to 2 other places as well. On the way, there is a Sai temple. I thought that now I would not go to the temple, otherwise, I would be late, but when I was crossing the temple, I felt like, let me just go and have darshan of Baba, then I would continue. So, I parked my car near the temple, went inside, had darshan and came back. But when I started the car, it didn’t start. I was blank, what to do now? I thought of calling my husband, but he was busy in the office. I called a friend who is staying nearby, but he was also not available. I went back to the temple and was talking to the priest about that. There were hardly any people in the temple since it was not Thursday. Then suddenly, one aged person came to me and offered me Baba’s Shirdi prasad (sugar packet) and he came to know about my car issue. He also tried to start, but it didn’t work, but he came to know that maybe it was due to the dead battery. He told me, “Don’t worry, you just sit inside the temple, I will bring a mechanic and get it repaired.” He went and after some time came with a mechanic along with the equipment. The mechanic charged the battery and the vehicle started, though the display was not coming. The stranger, sent by Baba, was even ready to pay the mechanic, but I didn’t allow him to pay. Then he went to drop the mechanic on his 2 wheeler and assured me that nothing will happen and that I could drive my car then. When I thanked him for his kind help, he just simply told, “You are at Baba’s temple, then how you will not get help? If possible, visit this temple every Thursday.”

After he left, I was wondering, who is this stranger, whom Baba sent at the right time to help me, when no one was around. I drove the car without any problems, finished my work and returned in the evening safely. It was Baba Who made me stop at the temple, He knew that wherever the car will stop, it will not restart again. If it would have been any other place, I would have faced a lot of trouble. Also, Baba sent this kind person, at that time, for my help. That day I felt that neither family nor friends could help me in that time of trouble, it was Baba only Who rushed to me and rescued me from that difficulty.

Yes, indeed it is true. He is ever merciful, ever-loving, ever caring, always watchful for His children. How can any calamity befall on us with Baba by our side? He is the true friend, life-partner, guardian and Guru. “Jab kathinayi chayi tu hi yaad aya, Bhatke raahi ko tune raasta dikhaya, Tune bhakton ka beda paar lagaya, Teri mahima Mere Sai kaun jan paya…”

(When the difficulty came, only You were remembered.
You showed the way to the wandering traveler, You helped the devotees to cross the difficulties of the worldly ocean, who could know Your glory, my Sai!)
