Sai Is Our Shield Against All Obstacles

I’m from the Global Mahaparayan group MP-2457N1 Red house. Whenever I’m in distress, I read Satcharitra and pray to Ma Sai to help me pass through the troubled times. He has always been by my side. Being a Sai devotee, I grabbed the opportunity to join the Global Mahaparayan group when my sister-in-law introduced me to the Global Mahaparayan in August 2019.

I wanted to go to the USA to be with my daughter for her first delivery in the month of July 2020. But because of the pandemic, international flights were limited and were not able to get tickets. I was very upset and thought I would never be able to make it there on time. I started one saptha of Satcharitra, hoping for the best. It was just by Baba’s grace and blessing that I reached my daughter’s place without any trouble. I  was home quarantined for 2 weeks and out of it without any issues. A week later my daughter went into labour and was in pain for more than 7 hours. I read Chapter 33 (Jamner Miracle) and prayed for her safe delivery. 

With Baba’s blessings and the prayers of my Sai bandhus from the group she had a normal delivery and delivered a healthy baby boy. Ever grateful to my Sai for taking us safely through these testing times and thank you my dear Sai Bandhus for your support and prayers. Now I have returned to India, fully sure that Ma Sai will protect my grandson. I had a comfortable journey back home, completing my 2 weeks of quarantine at home without any problems. After I reached home I also completed Chapter 50-51 and Aarthi, as per my allocation. 

Being part of the Global Mahaparayan, gave me a lot of peace of mind, knowing that Sai will be our shield against all obstacles and problems. 

“Sai knows the desire of His devotees and fulfils the same. So we invoke Him and prostrate ourselves before Him. Forgetting all our faults let Him free us from all anxieties. He who, being overcome with calamities, remembers and prays Sai thus, will get his mind calmed and pacified through His grace.” 

Baba, please bless us to be ever devoted to You. May we seek Your blessings always.

Drawn To Global Mahaparayan By Sai Baba’s Will

I am Alagarasi Prakash from the Global Mahaparayan group MP-2657N1. I joined the Mahaparayan group only in July 2020. During the pandemic, reading of Sai Satcharitra brought me so much comfort as I had an aged mother-in-law and 7 months old grandson to be taken care of. Sai safeguarded us that we passed the worst phase of the pandemic without any cause of infection. But that’s not the experience I want to share with all.

 Most of my friends are devotees of Baba. Though I was reading my allotted chapters every Thursday, I felt somewhat confused as to whether I was doing the right thing by joining the Global Mahaparayan group. Why is Baba not showing me some sign? (I strongly believe only if the Lord wishes we could have a darshan of Him or He would call us to Him). 

One day in early December I received a call from my sister who is looking after my father who is aged 90 years, that my father had suddenly fallen unconscious with seizures and they were rushing him to the hospital. It is a hospital with state of the art amenities to treat patients. He was admitted to the ICU. Doctors there said that they would do whatever they could and wait as he may not respond to treatment because of his age and as he had seizures. My father was unconscious for two days. By that time I started praying to Baba to bring back my father to the state of consciousness and respond to the treatment. Third day the doctors said that he was not responding much to the treatment and asked us to shift to a separate room and to see what happens as he may not recover, they said. But we insisted that he be kept in ICU and given treatment and I was praying and started reading Sai Satcharitra.

Treatment continued but my father thought he was opening his eyes and said he was not lucid for long, failed to remember us and also started having a fever. Next day his fever subsided but the doctors wanted him to be moved to the room and were saying he was contracting infection from other patients and though we all thought he was on the mend they said that it was not so and we should be able to accept whatever happens. I believed that Baba would not abandon me and I prayed before I finished my reading of Satcharitra fully, He would cure my father to the state he was before his hospitalisation. 

One Sai devotee used to visit our area every Thursday and used to come  home and he would bless us with Baba’s Udi. On that day though it was not Thursday that person came home and gave me Udi.  I just knew that Baba had blessed us and my father would recover. I took the Udi and smeared it on my father’s forehead.  Wonder of wonders my father came out of the state of unconsciousness on that day. They took off his oxygen support and he was mouth fed. Slowly he recovered and doctors discharged him from the hospital saying that he was fit to go home. 

By this Baba has cleared my confusion and shown me that only by His will I was drawn to Him and joined in the Global Mahaparayan group. I have so many examples to share but it will be very lengthy. So I stop with this saying that I shall be a lifelong devotee of Baba. Om Sairam!
