Shirdi Sai Devotee Dr. Silky Punyani From India Says: Jai Sairam and new year greetings to all! I am a Mahaparayan devotee from MP-217, and part of Mahaparayan since last 3 years. First of all, I wish to thank Baba and Poojaji from the bottom of my heart, for Mahaparayan, that has transformed the lives of countless and continues to do so, at the same time generating a powerful positive cosmic energy for the welfare of all beings. Mahaparayan has turned out to be, not just a remedy of worldly problems for so many, but also a great boon to strengthen our only true eternal bond, which is the one which we have with our beloved Baba.

The epilogue of the holy Shri Sai Satcharita states that “If you thus become merged with Him in any of the three states viz.. waking, dream and sleep, you get rid of the bond of samsara.’’ To be blessed by a dream of Baba, is truly an ecstatic, experience every child of Baba intently yearns for. Mahaparayan seva ties you with such a beautiful bond with Baba, that even in your sleeping state you can experience a surreal blissful encounter with Him, by His grace, that makes you feel drenched in Baba’s love more than ever! I am going to share one such beautiful dream Baba graced me with.
On 25th of July 2020, I saw a beautiful dream, in which I was amidst a group of people, some friends and family members. Suddenly Baba appeared amongst us, adorned in a beautiful plain peacock blue kafni with a green cloth tied on his head. For the first time I saw His face so clearly, with the most sublime and serene countenance ever, one can imagine. No wonder I was amazed, happy and bemused at the same time! Then all of a sudden Baba waves a peacock feather in the air and the “me’’ in the dream is transformed into a celebrity (a film star). My entire persona changes.

After this I woke up suddenly, it was 5 AM. I was on cloud number nine, as I tried to re-envision the beautiful darshan Baba had just given. For a while I pondered as to what Baba is trying to tell me with His appearance with a peacock feather. I concluded that probably He wants to convey to me His oneness with Shri Krishna, as whenever I think of peacock feather, only Krishna comes to mind first.

With all these thoughts and a mix of emotions, I wanted to thank Him for the divine vision and thought of watching the live darshan being streamed at that time. Honestly speaking, at the same time, there was doubting human voice inside me, that wanted a validation that it was truly Baba indeed Who had come in my dream and if it was so then He should be wearing the same color at Shirdi, like many of us think when we want to see Him in a particular color. However, the other sane voice, in my head, asked me to stop doubting and just be happy with such a divine darshan. Also my logical mind said that peacock blue is not such a common color for Baba to be wearing at Shirdi. So, I just went ahead with it saying, “Baba sorry for asking such a proof, please wear any color You wish and forgive me for doubting Your presence in my dream.” It was past the time of Kakad Aarti and the preparations for the mangal snan were in swing. I kept the thought of Baba’s clothes’ color aside and closed my eyes to listen to the Vishnu Sahasranama being played at that time. Let me mention here, that this was the first time I came to know that Vishnu Sahasranama is played for the mangal snan after the shehnai music everyday.

After a minute or two I casually opened my eyes to glance at the scene now flashing on my mobile screen, which was as seen below.

To my greatest joy and surprise Baba indeed was wearing the exact same color at Shirdi! I was now weeping with joy, a happiness experienced never before, to be blessed by Him in such a lovely way. But greedy that I was for His poofs the doubting voice in my head again asked how.. I wish there was a peacock feather and as this thought crossed my mind, the next scene is

 Live Darshan Screenshot Where Baba Wears Peacock Feather In The Crown With Peacock Design

And immediately after that the broach that was placed at the center was handed over. Now I was completely speechless. Let me inform the readers here that prior to this dream I was not regular at watching live darshan and never observed the darshan pictures to realize that most of the days Baba does wear the peacock feather with His mukut and the central broach of peacock feathers. So it was a revelation for me and an extremely happy one. I made sure to capture the screenshots to cherish this memory forever.

Now, I had no doubts whatsoever in my mind that it was Baba indeed giving a message of His oneness with Shri Krishna. But Baba still had more to give me, so as to put an end to my queries with a final stamp of approval. As soon as Baba was ready, the photographer was now clicking the darshan pictures, the chhoti aarti of “ Shirdi Maze Pandharpur’’ was about to start. In the meantime a bhajan started playing in the background which had the lyrics “Jai Govinda Gopala Manmohan Shyam Kanhaiya!” Readers can google the same, it is a very famous Krishna Bhajan by Anup Jalotaji.

It is well and truly said when Baba decides to give, it is beyond our expectations! One can only imagine my state of mind at that time. It still gives me so much pleasure to remember and write this dream to share with all Mahaparayan devotees.

Friends as I contemplated and reflected more on this dream, I concluded that Baba indeed showed me His oneness with Krishna…who is believed to be the Supreme Godhead in Hinduism…whilst all other incarnations of Shri Vishnu are called avtaars, Shri Krishna is considered Avataari…meaning the source of all avatars and beings. That energy indeed is Baba. The Satcharitra too is replete with instances of His oneness with Krishna, from the parallel teachings of Gita that He taught by example to the most striking one…that the shrine in the Buti wada was originally being constructed for Muralidhar and ultimately Baba Himself became the Muralidhar. This form He assumed to cement my faith, but to a Christian he would be the same as Jesus, to some same as Shri Rama or to some same as Shri Hanuman. Inscrutable are His ways, beyond our limited understanding. Also the part of my dream whereby my persona is transformed points to the fact that Baba can and does change us for the better always.

With this I now end my rather long post with best wishes for a fruitful, safe , blissful year 2021 in the loving shade of Baba’s love and grace forever. Once again Thank You Baba and thank You Poojaji.

Man thinks one way but God disposes as per His ways! Publishing of today’s post in itself is another miracle and can become another post as we had something else for today. Mahaparayan team is blessed to have the gem Silkyji as Head of the Teleconfirmation Department of Global Mahaparayan. Although she was hesitant to have her post again for the special day of New Year 2021, after the Dashera 2020 post of hers, Baba’s leela yet again proved that it is He Who decides when and which post will get published. 


This post reminds me of Megha’s vision and his doubts (Ch. 28 of Sai Satcharitra) about drawing the Trident. There Baba confirmed Megha’s faith in Shiva as worship of Shiva was dear to Megha. Similarly Silkyji’s doubts after the vision were cleared by Baba in His inscrutable ways only to confirm His oneness with Lord Krishna! Our Sadguru Sai Baba is Trimurti incarnate (Brahma, Vishnu , Maheshwara) and blessed is the one who knows the greatness of their Sadguru( Ch. 18 of Sai Satcharitra). 

 Let this New Year 2021, transform us as a still better person and we live our life with better visions. Let us explore the best version of ourselves having more devotion, love, gratitude, love and benevolence in our heart for all. Let us strive to attain oneness with Him by meditating on Him atleast for 9 minutes or more! Let us have full faith and patience that Baba will definitely answer our prayers at His perfectly perfect timings…! Love You Deva. Jai Jai Ho Sai. 😊
