Sairam. I’m a humble devotee of Baba, Who time and again has showed His presence through so many experiences. Here I’m to share my recent experience with you all and I strongly believe this happened only after I started the Mahaparayan. I’m a recruiter by profession who never took a break from work for more than a month but due to covid I lost my job with a startup and since most of the companies did a hiring freeze, I couldn’t find a job since March 2020.
First miracle is that in August 2020, an old colleague of mine reached out to me out of the blue regarding a one month job in her startup which paid me pretty good and I could take care of my expenses. For this I’m indebted to Baba!
The most recent miracle has been landing a consulting role at one of the top companies in the USA without even an interview which still feels like a dream to me. This happened exactly a month ago. I applied to a consulting role at a company through an agency and right after a week they called me saying that I was being given an offer based on my resume which was totally a dream come true. With Baba by our side nothing is impossible. Koti Pranam to Sai and all the admins of Mahaparayan.

Sai Baba Blessed Me With A Job During Covid Times

By Baba’s grace, I have been blessed to be part of the Global Mahaparayan initiative for almost 4 years now. A BIG thanks to you and other volunteers for this wonderful initiative!

I have experienced countless miracles of beloved Baba in my last 25 years of association with Him. On a day to day basis, I call Him numerous times for various things – ranging from smallest things to life’s biggest decisions and he is there for me every single time. This is my 4th experience on this platform and here I’m sharing the most recent leela of my Sai.
Last year by Baba’s blessings, I graduated from my Masters Degree (Part-time) while working in a full-time job and I wanted to switch my career in a line that’s aligned with my Master’s degree. I started my job search at the beginning of 2020 with great excitement. At this point of time, I stopped drinking tea (inspired by Mr. Cholkar’s story in chapter 15 of Sri SaiSatcharitra). Unfortunately, at that time Covid struck and I felt it was nearly impossible for me to switch jobs during such a time when the entire world had turned upside down. The economy all over the world was hit hard and many companies were laying off thousands of employees. With so many uncertainties going on, I didn’t want to risk the full-time job that I had where I was doing well and earning many appreciations. I thought I should be content and thankful for the job I had on my hand and not be greedy.
As expected, due to the market situation, I was getting rejection letters from companies even before the Interview stage. I felt disappointed on seeing back-to-back rejections and wanted to give up on my job search, losing all hope. I decided that it was better to focus on the job at hand. Little did I know that my Sai had another plan for me.
One day, when I was randomly searching, I came across a job posting for one of the top banks in the country. I applied for it but honestly didn’t have much hope to get a call for an interview. To my surprise, I got a call from the company on a Thursday and they mentioned that the hiring manager would like to interview me. The interview went well and I had a few additional rounds. With Baba’s grace, I cleared every round and to my delightment I finally received an offer on a Thursday. However, the remuneration package was not revealed in the offer email. I went to Baba’s question and answer site and put in a number and received Baba’s message – “You will expect 100 but receive 110. Worship Lord Krishna….”. I was almost choked looking at this message and its timing because that was the day of Janmashtami, Lord Krishna’s birthday. True to Baba’s message, the offer was more than what I expected.
During that same week, my Sai appeared in my dream one early morning, patted my back and disappeared in the form of a smoke. The dream was so realistic that I actually felt the pat on my back and woke up due to this. Needless to say, I was extremely pleased with the dream and felt immensely blessed by my dear Baba’s presence.
Baba didn’t stop there. He had one more sweet leela in store for me to reaffirm my faith in the Mahaparayan initiative. By Baba’s blessings, I joined the new company and my onboarding went smooth despite being remote. I felt that it was nothing short of a miracle that I could take up a new job during the peak Covid time.
On my first day, I remembered my vow and I was wondering if I should start drinking tea now. I put it off for a couple of days thinking that I will start drinking tea when Baba gives me a go-ahead sign in some form. Believe it or not, my Mahaparayan Chapter allocated to me on that Thursday was the same chapter 15 which contains the story of Mr. Cholkar who made a vow to cut down sugar in his tea until he found a job. As Cholkar was moved when he heard Baba’s significant words “Give him (your guest) cups of tea, fully saturated with Sugar.“, I was moved too and I had tears rolling down my cheeks.
I conclude this experience with Baba’s words from the same chapter – “If you spread your palms with devotion before Me, I am immediately with you, day and night. Though, I am here bodily, still I know what you do; beyond the seven seas. Go wherever you will, over the wide world, I am with you. My abode is in your heart and I am within you.” My humble pranam to Baba!

We are being taken care of by Lord Krishna as well as Sai Who are not different but the same and hence this great Sai incidence! It is Baba Who decides or allots the chapters and answers in His own ways to our unanswered questions that life puts forth. Our joining and serving in Mahaparayan in itself is one of the biggest answers for our welfare that Baba has provided and made it available to us. So let's enjoy this journey and live to the fullest.
