I am Unni Bhaskar and I was introduced to Sai Satcharitra by my school mate who is now a spiritual Guru. He had gifted me a copy of Satcharitra in 2008 with his note seeking great Sai’s blessings to be with me always. In 2010, during the global recession, my company also suffered a major setback in the Middle East.
However, in 2013 we managed to sign up some airport projects in the Sultanate of Oman and gradually started limping back to normalcy. We signed up for a project in Fujairah in 2019 and in that year I met my friend again at a wedding function in Kerala. I realized that he had some misunderstandings about me which he had shared with my brother. I felt very bad that he did not share his thoughts with me directly. I clarified my stand with him over the phone on the same day and he never contacted me afterward for a long time.
When I got back from the marriage, to my great surprise I got a letter from the Fujairah Project in UAE informing me about the suspension of the project. After one year, I visited Shirdi with my family and my cousin and his family and we had a great darshan. My cousin called me after a month and informed me about Sai MahaParayan and I agreed to be a part of it. Following Thursday I started the MahaParayan and prayed deeply to Sai. The same day, in the morning, after I finished my MahaParayan (first day), I was checking my mailbox and found a letter from Fujairah informing me about the resumption of the Project. Afternoon, I also received a message from my friend in my messenger (after almost a gap of one year) and the message says, “Dear Unni, Sai loves you!”

I would like to start by thanking the people behind creating this wonderful thought of the Global Mahaparayan and helping us devotees to experience Sai Baba’s leelas and miracles.
Like most people around the world, the initial part of 2020 had been a disaster for me. I was unsatisfied with my job which in turn made me emotionally weak and dropped my self-confidence to ground level. I started doubting myself and things I could do so easily in the past seemed nearly impossible for me to achieve or even think of doing, such was my situation. I did not know where to go and whom to approach. I managed to sustain myself with the support of my family and being a devotee of Sai Baba I kept chanting His name and praying to Him to give me the strength and courage to fight through this.
Then came a day that changed my life, June 4th which was a Thursday and is regarded as Sai Baba’s day. As I was searching online for a few sayings/quotes of Sai Baba, I stumbled upon a link that read about the Global Mahaparayan. I clicked it, read about it, and almost instantly got myself registered to join the Mahaparayan group. I could sense that I was wandering around not knowing where to go and Baba showed me the path. I couldn’t have asked for more. I got an email confirming the registration and had to wait to be added to a group.
I decided to not wait till I get into a group to start reading the chapters, so I began reading chapters 7 & 8 (just a random selection) on the fourth itself. I got added to the MP group in less than a week (10th June) but it seemed like a year-long wait; that was my desperation to join the group, devotion, and surrender myself at Baba’s feet. Later that day I was informed about my roll number is 45 (which when added is 9 which is regarded as Baba’s number) and my happiness knew no bounds. Also, the chapters that were assigned to me were 33 & 34 which talk about Baba’s Udi. I did not know how to express my happiness, emotions, and whatnot. I started to feel good from within and I knew through Shraddha and Saburi situations will become fine.
There is always a reason behind what we undergo, be it good or bad. What I have understood is during tough times, we are undergoing His test and all that we are supposed to do is keep praying to Him and ask Him to give us strength. Whatever the situation is we must try to remain calm from within, though it is tough, it certainly is not impossible and since we have Sai Baba in our life it is very much getable. Just need to believe in Him and ourselves.

Little drops of water make the mighty ocean likewise small, small things lead to big things and so if we start finding joy in small things it would definitely make us happier each day. Baba loves and cares equally for all His devotees small or big. Our devotion or our definition of us being a devotee may be small or big (devotee) but to Baba all His devotees are alike. For He is our S(a)ai Baba (Aai is Mother) & Baba(Father)). Would parents ever discriminate between their children? Then how can Baba? He is the most merciful, benevolent and beyond our intellect!
